Legend currently holds a 90% interest in the Ngovayang Project (iron, gold) located in the southwestern region of Cameroon in West Africa. The Project is considered prospective for both gold mineralisation associated with a major shear zone and granitic intrusives, and iron ore in the form of magnetite gneiss and direct shipping ore (DSO).
The Project covers approximately 2,970km² and comprises three granted exploration permits. Legend attained its 90% interest in the Cameroon Project following the acquisition of 90% of Cameroon company Camina SA in February 2010.
